MyScrapRoom Challenge #25 and SALE ANNOUNCEMENT!!

Here is my entry for MyScrapRoom Challenge #25.

I finally used some of the wood veneers that I bought from Diana McRae. She has awesome wood veneers and constantly makes new designs. Check her store here.

I mostly used mulberry roses from I Am Roses and Wild Orchid Crafts for the top of the jar. I used some washi tape to cover the lid of the jar.

For the front of the jar, I colored the wood veneer with Tombow and Copic markers. I then glued it to a piece of an oval die cut.

I used another veneer from Diana and left it dangling with the help of the cloth pin. I also used a fabric rose that I cut from a rosette trim. I actually used a Tattered Angel mist to change the color of the fabric rose from pink to dark red.

SALE ANNOUNCEMENT (THIS IS THE IMPORTANT PART, LOL!)
My friend Aarti sells rosette trim. She has all sorts of colors as can be seen here. Now, the good news is that she is having a sale on a Facebook group. Wizard of Oz Layout

Here is a layout I made for picture taken in 2010. I bought the Graphic 45 Wizard of Oz paper pad especially for this picture.

This picture was from my previous company's annual party. I chose to dress as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz movie. Oh yes, those people in the picture are not Whoopie Goldberg or Robert Williams. They are the sosies or people who resemble the two stars :).

I did a fussy cut of the image and stuck them to the page with a dimensional. I used some bling mesh to frame the picture.

Supplies:
-Graphic 45 Wizard of Oz Paper
-Bling mesh
-Green cardstock
-Thickers

Use Your Steals :)

This is a continuation from the project that I showed on this post. I did this for a challenge on a Facebook group. The challenge is to make something  using the items purchased from the sellers in that group.

I decided to make a paper wallet journal to go with the paper purse I made earlier.

Above is the front side of the paper wallet. I sewed around the paper using a sewing machine. I also used the Basic Grey magnets (I love the magnets because they are so thin) to close the paper wallet.

You can see the inner part of the paper wallet in the picture above. I slipped some tags to the pockets on the left hand side of the wallet. On the right hand side I slipped a journal. I made the journal by combining several pages of pattern paper using a masking tape.

Here is a picture of the wallet inside the bag.

MyScrapRoom Challenge #23

Here is a card that I made for MyScrapRoom Challenge.
The roses on the center of the card is fussy cut from Basic Grey paper. I also used a Spellbinders die to make the oval embellishment.

I also used my Making Memories magnetic stamp for the first time. I must say it's very easy to use. I bought the magnetic stamp from CropChocolate the other time and I don't regret it.
