Happy Spring

I made card as an entry to two challenges, Papertrey Ink's MIM #160 and Taheerah's Cure for the Monday Blues.

For Papertrey Ink's MIM #160 challenge, we have must create a card with heat embossing on die cuts or two step stamps.

For the other challenge, we have to create a card using the inspiration photo that Taheerah provided.

I took the bold neon colors and use them on my card. Since the inspiration photo reminds me of spring, I created this Happy Spring card.

I use Wreath for All Seasons set for this card. I first stamped the wreath of twigs with Stampin' Up Early Espresso and then stamped the wreath of dots three times, turning the stamp slightly each time. I used Stampin' Up Baja Breeze and Daffodil Delight ink for the first and second stampings. For the last stamping, I embossed the image using purple neon Zing embossing powder.

For the sentiment "Happy Spring", I used a stamp from Stylish Sentiments: Birthday set as well as a stamp from the Wreath for All Seasons set.

I also used some neon yellow washi tape as a background for the card.

Supplies:
- PTI Wreath for All Seasons, Stylish Sentiments: Birthday sets
- Stampin' Up ink pads, Versamark
- Washi tape
- Zing embossing powder
- PTI cardstock.

I decided to make a card with pastel colors. Here is my card.

I embossed the images and sentiment in gold to give some shine to the card. The sentiment and the feather images come from WPlus9 Fanciful Feather set.

Growing in Unity - Day 4

Hi there! It's the fourth day of Growing in Unity with me.

Using all stamps from Pixie Lane set, I created this pop-up card. I had fun coloring the images with Copic markers. The spiral die cut that holds the cute houses was made using PTI popper die.

I decided to keep the front of the card very simple. I stamped the phrase "Welcome Home" ( from Welcome Home set) in the front and added some dots.

Thanks for stopping by.

Growing in Unity - Day 2

Welcome back!

For this second day of Growing in Unity, I have a jar card I want to share with you.

I used Jar of Sunshine stamp set for this project. As a start, I stamped the jar image on a piece of acetate using some brown Stazon ink. Once I trimmed the acetate, I then sewed the acetate with a piece of cardstock, along the side and the bottom of the jar image. I added some confetti to the sewn "pocket", added a straw and glued the top of the jar.

I made two holes at the side so that I can tie the little note card using some jute string.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to leave a comment for a chance to win two Itty Bitty stamps.

Supplies:
- Jar of Sunshine stamp set
- Pattern Paper
- Brown Stazon, Stampin Up ink
- Jute String
- Pattern paper and confetti
