No Outline Watercolor

I made another Christmas card using the technique described in this week's Make It Monday challenge. I used PTI's Peaceful Pinecones set and the Madison Arched Die from Poppy Stamps.

I first die cut the window die on a piece of scrap paper. Using a light-colored marker and the die cut,  I traced the shape of the window on a piece of watercolor paper. I then stamped the small pinecone and branches images using Wheat ink pad from Amuse.

Using Distress Ink reinkers, I colored the images. As a sentiment, I used "'Tis The Season" stamp from Think Big Favorites #8.

I adhered the watercolor paper on a piece of patterned paper.

Supplies:
- Watercolor paper, patterned paper from October Afternoon
- Distress Ink reinkers (Festive Berries, Barn Door, Salty Ocean, Mowed Lawn, Walnut Stain)
- Versafine ink pad, Amuse Wheat ink pad

Cure For The Monday Blues Challenge #24

For this week's Cure For The Monday Blues Challenge, we have to make a card based on the following inspiration photo.

Here is my take on the challenge.

I used the neon orange, yellow, aqua, brown and grey colors from the picture. I also used PTI Make It Market : Shakers and Sprinkles stamp and die set.

I started by die cutting the "Sprinkled" word and embossing it with neon orange Zing embossing powder. I adhered the word on a piece of PTI Aqua Mist cardstock. I stamped the sentiment with A-muse Slate ink pad.

I used four strips of woodgrain paper to frame the sentiment. I got this idea when I saw the shelves in the picture. The bucket of paint gave me an idea to add something that looks like paint drops on my card. I thought that the confetti die from the PTI kit would work, so I adhered some paper confetti on my card.

I'm actually quite surprised with this challenge. I did not like the color scheme when I saw the picture for the first time. After I finished the card, I realized that the colors are pretty nice.

Supplies:
- PTI Maket It Market: Shakers and Sprinkles kit
-Versamark, A-muse Slate ink pads
- Neon orange Zing embossing powder
- PTI Aqua Mist and Harvest Gold cardstock, Bazzil Cardstock
- Woodgrain paper

Rainbow Medallion

I created this card as an entry to PTI's Make It Monday challenge. Since it's July, it's time to make a Christmas card ;).

I used a stamp from PTI's Peaceful Pinecones set to create this card. The sentiment, coming from the same set, is stamped and embossed on a piece of banner created using a die from Avery Elle's Build a Banner set.

I used some gold Stickles to add some sparkles to the card. I really enjoyed making this one layer card.

Supplies:
-PTI Peaceful Pinecones set
-Avery Elle's Build a Banner set
-Stampin' Up ink pads
-Gold Stickles
-Gold Zing Embossing powder
-Neenah White cardstock

Cure For The Monday Blues #23 Part II

As I mentioned in my previous post, I created two cards for Cure For The Monday Blues challenge.

This time I  use the throw on the bed  from the following inspiration photo as my inspiration.

Here is my card.

Using PTI's Background Basic: Super Stripes and Studio L2E's Studio Borders 2: Geometric sets, I stamped various borders on a piece of white cardstock.

I then cut two asymmetric pieces of cardstock. I stamped a sentiment from PTI Stylish Sentiments: Birthday using Versamark ink  and then embossed it in Gold Filigree embossing powder. I adhered the pieces of cardstock using dimensional adhesive.

Supplies:

- PTI Background Basic: Super Stripes
- PTI Stylish Sentiments: Birthday
- Studio L2E Studio Borders 2: Geometric
- Stampin' Up ink pads
- Neenah cardstock
- Stewart's Superior Gold Filigree embossing powder

Cure For The Monday Blues #23 Part I

I have two entries for Taheerah's Cure For The Monday Blues challenge.

Here is the first card.

I created the card based on the curtain and the chair in the following inspiration photo.

I started by stamping various stamps from Mama Elephant's Water Blooms set on two strips of PTI's Soft Stone cardstock.

I stamped a confetti border image on a piece of cardstock using a stamp from Studio L2E's Studio Borders 2: Geometric stamp set in yellow and pink to imitate the inner curtains in the inspiration photo. After scoring the two flowery strips, I adhered them using some dimensional adhesive.

I also add two small embellishments, the couch and the sentiment banner from PTI's On the Couch set.

Supplies:
- PTI On the Couch set
- Mama Elephant Water Blooms set
- Studio L2E Studio Borders 2: Geometric
- PTI and Stampin' Up cardstock
- Stampin' Up ink pads
