Hip Hip Hooray!

Hello,

I want to share a card that I made as an entry for Cure For the Monday Blues challenge.

This time, we have to make a card based on the following inspiration photo.

The glass and the label maker gave me an idea to make a shaker card. So here's my card.

For the base, I embossed a white cardstock with PTI's Woodgrain impression plate, to imitate the table in the inspiration photo. Using Spellbinders dies, I stacked two piece of circle cardstock and the base to create the circle frames for the shaker card.

I created the "Hip Hip Hooray!" strips using a label maker. I pasted the pieces on another piece of embossed cardstock. With the help of dimensional adhesives I finished the shaker card.

The white sentiment on a black cardstock is from PTI's Happy For You set.

Supplies:
-Stampin' Up Whisper White cardstock, black cardstock
-PTI Lavender Moon Cardstock
-Acrylic sheet
-Patterned paper
-CTMH White inkpad
-Sequins

Just a Note

This is another card that I made as an entry for Cure For the Monday Blues challenge.

This time, I use the message board in the following photo as my inspiration.

So, here is my card.

I started by embossing a piece of Neenah Dessert Storm cardstock with a polka dot embossing powder. I applied a white inkpad directly on the raised part of the cardstock.

For the frame, I die cut a piece of the cardstock using two Spellbinders Nestabillities Label 17 dies. I then applied some glitter by using heat and stick powder.

I stamped "Just a Note" phrase (from StudioL2E's Special Delivery set) on a piece of patterned paper. I added a strip of washi tape and a red brad on the little note.

Supplies:
- Studio L2E Special Delivery set
- Neenah Dessert Storm cardstock and Stampin' Up Whisper White cardstock
- Polka dot embossing powder
- Judi Kins Heat & Stick Powder
- Martha Stewart Glitter
- Spellbinders Nestabillities Label 17

Flower Card

Hello,

I made two cards for Cure for The Monday Blues Challenge. This week's inspiration photo is:

For the first card, I use the flowery carpet as my inspiration.

I made this card using inlaid die-cuts technique. I started by die cutting a piece of PTI's Hawaiian Shore cardstock with Pretty Peonies dies. I placed the dies where I want the flowers to be. I then stamped the peony images on the die cuts and heat embossed the images with Zing embossing powders in different colors.

I colored the surroundings of the embossed images with a black marker. Once done, I simply adhered the die cuts to the negative part of the die cut.

Using Stampin' Up Chalk marker, I draw some lines and dots on the embossed images.

Supplies:
-PTI Pretty Peonies Stamp and Die set
-PTI Hawaiian Shore cardstock
-Zing Embossing powders
-Stampin' Up Chalk Marker and Ink pad.
