Here is my entry for MyScrapRoom Challenge #25.
I finally used some of the wood veneers that I bought from Diana McRae. She has awesome wood veneers and constantly makes new designs. Check her store here.
I mostly used mulberry roses from I Am Roses and Wild Orchid Crafts for the top of the jar. I used some washi tape to cover the lid of the jar.
For the front of the
jar, I colored the wood veneer with Tombow and Copic markers. I then
glued it to a piece of an oval die cut.
I used another veneer from Diana and left it dangling with the help of the cloth pin. I also used a fabric rose that I cut from a rosette trim. I actually used a Tattered Angel mist to change the color of the fabric rose from pink to dark red.
SALE ANNOUNCEMENT (THIS IS THE IMPORTANT PART, LOL!)
My friend Aarti sells rosette trim. She has all sorts of colors as can be seen here. Now, the good news is that she is having a sale on a Facebook group.
