For the PTI challenge, we have to create an easel card. For the Cure For The Monday Blues, we have to create a card based on the following inspiration photo.
So, here is my card.
When I saw the inspiration picture, I immediately thought of creating a card with dessert images. I also took the colors from the inspiration photo. To make it even more fun, I created a shaker card.
I started by creating the base easel card. I die cut PTI Soft Stone base card using Spellbinders Nestabilities Label 22.
To create the shaker part, I die cut a piece of DCWV pink glitter cardstock with PTI Slider Frame die. Also, I used the same die, with the help of a handmade shim, to create an opening on the base card.
I die cut a piece of double-sided foam adhesive that I got from PTI Shakers and Sprinkles kit.
I adhered a square piece of transparency to the front part of the foam adhesive and then adhered the frame die cut on top of it. I flipped the foam adhesive, put some sprinkles on top of the transparency and then adhered the second piece of the transparency, sealing the sprinkles inside. The sprinkles are from PTI Shakers and Sprinkles kit as well. I adhered the shaker to the front of the card.
I stamped the "Thank you" sentiment from Ruby Rose stamp set on the inside of the card with Versamark ink and embossed it with gold embossing powder from PTI.
To embellish the card, I used Cleary Besotted's Tasty Treats stamp and die sets to create the cupcake and the little macarons. I added some gold Stickles to add sparkles to the die cut pieces.
I also added scalloped ribbons, embellished with some liquid pearls to the card. I got the idea from the border of the pink cake stand in the inspiration photo.

This is very clever! I love shaker cards, and this one is super! I am glad you did an easel card that wasn't a chalkboard! Too many of those! This one looks just like sweet shop window! Very cute!
