Just For You

Hello there,

It's GIU Blog Hop time. You may have arrived from Maria's blog.

I want to share a card and its matching envelope using Unity SOTW "Need A Squeeze".

I used the citrus slices rubber stamp as a background stamp. I randomly stamped the images on a white cardstock using Stampin' Up Pool Party, Gumball Green, Daffodil Delight and Pink Pirouette. After die-cutting the cardstock, I adhered it on a striped patterned paper.

For the sentiment, I used Heidi Swapp Color Magic Resist alphas, colored with the same Stampin' Up ink.

As for the matching envelope, I again stamped the citrus slices images on a white cardstock and then die cut it using a bow die.

Thanks for stopping by! Your next stop is Brittany's blog (http://craftypaperbee.blogspot.com).

Cluster Stamped Sentiment

I combined PTI Make It Monday and Cure for Monday Blues challenges to make this card.

With the PTI challenge, we have to make a cluster stamped sentiment. As for the Cure for Monday Blues challenge, we were given the following inspiration photo.

I picked the colors from the inspiration photo and used them for my card.

Instead of embossing the sentiment, I decided to die cut the sentiment using PTI Headline Alphabet Die set. I then cut a small window on the card so that the die-cut alphabets can slide.

For the cluster stamping, I used Confetti Garland Border stamp set from PTI, as well as a sequin stamp that comes from a Studio Calico card kit. I embossed the sequin images with some gold embossing powder.

Supplies:
-PTI Headline Alphabet Die set
-PTI Confetti Garland Border stamp set
-PTI Tip Topped Die set
-Studio Calico Roundabout Card Kit stamp set
-Stampin' Up Ink Pads, Versamark, Gold Filigree embossing powder

Thank You Card

I combined two challenges to make this card. The first challenge is Make It Monday from PTI and the second is Cure for Monday Blues.

For the challenge from PTI, we have to make an envelope wrap. With Cure for Monday Blues challenge, we have to create a card based on this inspiration photo.

I decided to make a card with a triangular pattern, taking the inspiration from the comforter in the inspiration photo, and to make a matching envelope wrap.

So, here is my card and the envelope wrap.

I used PTI Cover Plate: Triangle Dies to make this project. I made the die cut in four different colors and use the grey die cut as the base for my card. I then adhered a mix of triangle die cuts to fill the triangular space.

The speech bubble die cuts were made using Speak set from StudioL2E. I stamped the images on a white cardstock using Versamark and embossed them.

Supplies:
-PTI cardstock
-PTI Cover Plate: Triangle Dies
-StudioL2E: Speak stamp set
-Zing Black Embossing powder
-Versamark
- Scor-tape and dimensional adhesives.

Cure For the Monday Blues #15

I want to share a card that I made as my entry for Cure For the Monday Blues challenge.

The inspiration photo for this challenge is below.
I took the colors and the flowers as my inspiration. Here is my card.

The flower pot comes from the mug stamp from PTI's Candy Cane Christmas set. I masked off the mug handle to create the flower pot. I used Mama Elephant's Water Blooms set for the flowers.

I fussy cut all the images and assembled them with the help of some dimensional adhesives as well as some Scor-Tape.

I also used PTI's Background Basics : Super Stripes set to make the gold frame. I really like Tsukineko Gold Delicata ink pad. It gives a very nice gold color.

The "Celebrate" sentiment comes from Avery Elle's Circle It set.

Supplies:
- PTI Candy Cane Christmas and Background Basics: Super Stripes sets
- Mama Elephant's Water Blooms set
-Avery Elle's Circle It set
-Stampin' Up cardstock
-Stampin' Up Ink pads and Tsukineko Gold Delicata
-American Crafts Zing Embossing powder
-Pattern paper from SC kit

Happy Spring

I made card as an entry to two challenges, Papertrey Ink's MIM #160 and Taheerah's Cure for the Monday Blues.

For Papertrey Ink's MIM #160 challenge, we have must create a card with heat embossing on die cuts or two step stamps.

For the other challenge, we have to create a card using the inspiration photo that Taheerah provided.

I took the bold neon colors and use them on my card. Since the inspiration photo reminds me of spring, I created this Happy Spring card.

I use Wreath for All Seasons set for this card. I first stamped the wreath of twigs with Stampin' Up Early Espresso and then stamped the wreath of dots three times, turning the stamp slightly each time. I used Stampin' Up Baja Breeze and Daffodil Delight ink for the first and second stampings. For the last stamping, I embossed the image using purple neon Zing embossing powder.

For the sentiment "Happy Spring", I used a stamp from Stylish Sentiments: Birthday set as well as a stamp from the Wreath for All Seasons set.

I also used some neon yellow washi tape as a background for the card.

Supplies:
- PTI Wreath for All Seasons, Stylish Sentiments: Birthday sets
- Stampin' Up ink pads, Versamark
- Washi tape
- Zing embossing powder
- PTI cardstock.
